We did some “touristy” things this weekend.  No, we haven’t forsaken the shows (going out tonight at 10:30).  Yesterday was the ARTE Museum on Harmon just west of Las Vegas Blvd.  Very interesting.  The spaces are mirrors on which are displayed images – flowers, forest, etc.  It’s hard to explain because the projected images are on the floor as well.  They describe it as “immersive,” and I think that is fitting as you are in the middle of and surrounded by color and movement.

Today we revisited the Atomic Testing Museum.  It had been a few years since we last visited and the installations have been upgraded — very nice.  I was sorry to the Area 51 stuff gone, but you can always catch it on the History Channel.

Check ’em out,.
